Welcome to Pixelize ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Pixelize is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information:

Image Data: Photos you select are processed entirely on your device. We never upload, transmit, or store your photos on any server.
Processing History: Your recent pixel art creations are stored locally on your device for easy access.
Device Information: Basic device information for app functionality and crash reporting.
Advertising Data: Our advertising partners may collect data as described in their privacy policies.

3. LOCAL-ONLY PROCESSING

All image processing in Pixelize happens 100% on your device. Your photos never leave your phone. We do not have access to any images you process. This means:

No cloud uploads of your photos
No server-side processing
No storage of your images on external servers
Complete privacy of your personal photos

4. LOCAL DATA STORAGE

Your processing history (up to 50 recent images) is stored locally using AsyncStorage. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us. You can clear this data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the application.

5. ADVERTISING

Pixelize displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support free usage. Google AdMob may collect certain information for personalized advertising. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

On iOS devices, we request App Tracking Transparency permission before enabling personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.

6. PERMISSIONS

Pixelize requests the following permissions:

Camera: To take new photos for pixel art creation
Photo Library: To select existing photos and save processed images
App Tracking (iOS): Optional, for personalized advertising

All permissions are used solely for the stated purposes and your data remains on your device.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Pixelize is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

8. DATA SECURITY

Since all processing and storage happens locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security settings. We recommend using device passcodes and keeping your operating system updated.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our app uses the following third-party services:

Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements
Expo: For app development and updates

Each service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information.

10. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

Delete your local processing history by clearing app storage or uninstalling
Opt out of personalized advertising through device settings
Deny camera and photo library permissions (app will have limited functionality)
